View maps of Earth and other planets with PrettyMap! See current day and night regions, learn geography by taking the quiz, enjoy relief elevation surfaces, measure distances between locations and create your own maps with special places! PrettyMap lets you view off-line vector and raster maps and images (such as country boundaries, world cities, rivers, satellite photos), search in geographically-referenced data, visualize and analyze spatial information, extend your knowledge by taking an educational quiz, and edit your own simple maps. PrettyMap is a GIS program with the following features:

TravelMapperer TravelMapperer - TravelMapperer can be used when you travel and need to download offline maps via GPS. The program gets your GPS and downloads 100 maps north/south/east/west from your GPS from Google.com maps and places a GPS tag on them. You can view the maps offline via GPS distance.
This program requires that you have both the 'BeanDLL
MapDistancer MapDistancer allows you to enter a US ZIP code and downloads a Google.com map of the ZIP code to your current GPS. Enter the ZIP code and start the GPS to get the lock. When you get the lock tap the button to view the map. This service is provided by USZIP
MapTexterer MapTexterer - MapTexterer allows you to create text based GPS maps. When you get a GPS lock then you can create a new map and enter text for the area. When you save the text the map is downloaded and the text and GPS is appended to the end of the map with current GPS.
