Human beings are part of nature. However, we usually get fidgety, anxious or irritated when being affected by various life chores in a man-made society. We often find our minds messed up, caught in a dilemma. As we can not purify a basin of dirty water by simply stirring it, the best way to purify a chaotic mind is to calm it down and let it return to naturalness.
A mind rest in peace can slowly purify itself. A purified mind is the same as clean water filtered from the dirty stuff which has sunk to the bottom. This album (Tranquilize) has cultivated a natural and peaceful musical circumstance. Pure sounds played by traditional Chinese instruments will lead you to a state of naturalness, thus to achieve a higher self-awareness and consciousness. What is "Tai Chi"
"Tai Chi" is a Chinese philosophical concept with a long history, which has exerted great influence on various Chinese cultural schools including Confucianism, Taoism, etc. It elucidates how everything transforms and grows in our universe.
To be brief, "Tai Chi" means "the two opposing extremes in everything". The core of "Tai Chi" lies in the balance of Yin and Yang. In Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang are two opposing principles in nature, the former feminine and negative while the latter masculine and positive. Many natural dualities – dark and light, female and male, low and high, cold and hot – are viewed as manifestations of yin and yang respectively. The balance of Yin and Yang carries the meaning of how seemingly contrary forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn.
"Tai Chi" implies a sense of value with an emphasis on magnanimity, harmony and balance. It recognizes a peaceful co-existence of all the things that are seemingly contrary, such as Good and Evil, Beautiful and Ugly, Right and Wrong, etc. making use of the wisdom in "Tai Chi", we can achieve a inner and outer balance between human and nature, as well as a harmony among human beings.
