Cricket Scorer is a handheld application that allows you to electronically score a Cricket Match. Currently supported platforms include Palm (excluding OS5) and PocketPC. With the exception of Test Matches or other two innings per team match formats, Cricket Scorer offers you the flexibility to score almost any other format of Cricket including those that require 'special' rules. So do away with that pen and paper scoring or those bulky notebook computers and let Cricket Scorer do the scoring for you. You will not regret it!!

If you know the basics of how Cricket is scored, the learning curve for you to become an expert at using the program is practically NILL. There are no cryptic buttons that require you to read the manual completely before you can learn to score. Just install it and start scoring!!
· Allows you to score the limited overs or unlimited overs version of the game. However, at present you may only score one innings per team, per match. A version with the ability to score double innings matches is being worked on and will be included in the next release.
· Unlimited overs per innings. Demo version curtails each innings to 5 overs that should be sufficient for you to evaluate the program.
· Save team roster(s)/sheet(s) for easily importing when starting a new match later. Eliminates the need to enter the names of each player each time you start a new match. Save as many team roster(s)/sheet(s) as you want. There is no limit to it provided you have enough memory available on your handheld. Each saved roster takes up only about 1KB of your handheld memory.
· Fully compliant with MCC 2000 laws. Enough said!
· Up to 16 players per team (demo version limits this to 5), 16 batting and bowling positions per innings. This makes it suitable for leagues or clubs that allow more or less than just 11 players in a team with batsmen retiring and coming in to bat again.
· Undo upto 20 scored events at the touch of a button. More than sufficient for correcting those inevitable scoring mistakes that you will make.
· Effortlessly change to other handheld applications or turn the power off and return back to exactly where you were. If your handheld allows it, you may even change batteries during the match without losing the 'state' of the match.
· Save/Archive unlimited number of scored matches. This is limited only by the available memory on your handheld. Each saved match takes up only about 7KB of your handheld memory. Makes it perfect for scoring when you are on tour and do not have a PC available to backup all your matches.
· Run targets and required run rate calculation in limited overs matches.
· View your entire scorecard online including details of each over and dismissal.
· Detailed user manual in PDF format.
· Compact, efficient coding for a very small program footprint.
· Convert any saved match to a summary scorecard in CSV or HTML file format using Scorer Converter (included in the download) on your Windows PC for easily publishing or distributing.
· Written in Appforge MobileVB. Requires Appforge Booster to be installed on your handheld. Think of Booster as a plug-in for your handheld Operating System that allows you to run thousands of applications written in Appforge MobileVB, Scorer being just one of them.
