StudyBuilder Enterprise Edition is for groups of study designers who wish to work on the same study simultaneously, build custom question and/or study libraries or integrate data collection tools into existing systems. The software runs on computers running Microsoft Windows 95 /98 /2000 /2003 /ME /NT /TabletPC /XP. StudyBuilder Enterprise Edition has all the features of StudyBuilder Professional Edition plus additional tools for groups. Collaboration over networks and email systems makes it possible for locally and internationally distributed study design teams to work together. Data can be collected via Web sites and warehoused on systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. StudyBuilder Enterprise Edition allows the creation, management and distribution of custom question and study libraries. Access can be granted to certain libraries so that only qualified users have permission to use them. Studies and libraries can be published in 'review only’ mode (users can see the study design and materials but not edit or use them), read only mode (users can use study designs but not change them) or full mode (users can use and modify). These permissions can be applied to whole or specific portions of the libraries.
This product also contains special versions of StudyBuilder Field Edition that can be embedded into packages such as Microsoft Access or Corel Paradox for quick and simple data entry form design. Alternatively, StudyBuilder Field Edition subsystems such as the cross platform database engine, secure data transport or data validation engine can be integrated into custom software royalty free.
StudyBuilder Enterprise Edition includes StudyBuilder Field Edition for Apple Mac OS, EPOC, Java, Linux OS, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Windows 3.1/ 95/ 98/ 2000/ CE/ ME/ NT/ PocketPC/ XP, Nokia Communicator and PalmOS. StudyBuilder Field Edition can be used in an unlimited number of studies at an unlimited number of sites without payment of additional licensing fees when a StudyBuilder Enterprise Edition license is purchased. Registered users can download updated software for twelve months after purchase.
