UkSnow shows you where in the UK it has recently snowed and how much it has snowed. It works by searching for the #UkSnow hashtag on twitter, and displaying snowflakes on a match. The postition of the snowflake is placed using the postcode prefix in the tweet, the size of the snow flake is shown as rating out of 10
For example if somone sends a tweet containing "#UkSnow 5/10 sw1" a medium sized snowflake will appear on the Map in this application.

The application uses the smallest possible amount of data from twitter to display the map (by using JSON)
All postcode lookup in done on the phone to increase performance and reduce bandwidth useage
