The game is a square board consisting of 81 cells, i.e. 9 cells in each line and each column. Except for this the playing field is divided into 9 blocks 3x3 cells in size. The essence of the game is that you have to fill in the playing field with the numbers from 1 to 9 so that not a single number repeated itself neither in vertical nor horizontal lines.
