The Genesis Plus emulator, originally for the Nintendo GameCube and from Charles Macdonald, has been picked up by homebrew developer eke-eke and ported it to the Nintendo Wii.
Just like its name implies, it allows users to run Sega Genesis/Megadrive games on their preferred console. Since this is the first time we've featured this emulator, here are its most worth mentioning features:

In one of the download packages below, you will be able to find a Genplus.txt file which contains additional information regarding usage and installation. It also gives you the version history of the project.

A new build is out for the Wii's Genesis Plus Project - otherwise known as GenPlus. In case you're not familiar with the program, GenPlus is a Sega Genesis Emulator for the Nintendo Wii and GameCube. This latest version has several new updates, with a large emphasis on added support for extra players (up to 8!)
Wiiengine 1.2 Changelog:- Added one option to exit to the loader from the ROM selector screen (Press MINUS and confirm)- Now you can use MINUS button as SELECT button (remember you also can use PLUS button for the same function)
