Homebrew dev joedj has once again updated FTPii, the Wii's very own homebrew FTP server. With FTpii, you don't have to transfer your SD card from your Wii to your PC if you want to move a few files. Just fire up FTPii and you're basically good to go.
The latest FTPii release, version, 0.0.8, comes with the following changes:
* Added no-op SITE CHMOD command to prevent some FTP from displaying skip/abort/retry type prompts.
* Fixed MKD bug that caused working directory to change to new directory automatically.
The download includes a bundled readme file chock full of more info about this homebrew app. Read it thoroughly before installing FTPii. It's called a Readme file for a reason, after all.

You will need an FTP client in order to connect to your Wii, but once you have got one set up, all you have to do is use wiiload to send ftpii to your Wii and once the network has initialized it's good to go.
