Nintendo Wii owners who've been utilizing homebrew developer Nuke's Gecko Region Free loader for region free gaming can rejoice, because a new version of the nifty application is out. Like its previous releases, Gecko Region Free version 1.3 is bringing a handful of tweaks.
Here are the changes Nuke listed down:
* Fixed 'Insert Disc' Problem which alot of users were having.
* Increased compatibility.
* Added cheat engine and extra remote debugging tools, so can use with the included Gecko Client
As usual, you'll need the Chain Loader to load boot.elf. It's smooth sailing after that, since you just have to insert the Wii game disc then press reset. Gecko Region Free is still in beta stage, but it seems Nuke isn't holding back with the updates. We're sure to keep tabs, so watch this space!
