The latest in the Nintendo Wii homebrew scene brings us a classic's port to the white hot console. Homebrew developer mangaman3000 has released Minesweeper, a direct clone of the original playable with a GameCube controller.
As of now, mangaman3000's Minesweeper doesn't support the Wii Remote. Scores also don't get recorded, but updates are expected to follow. Installation is basically the same as most Wii homebrew, so be sure you know how to work the Zelda Chainloader.
For now, here are controls you need to know:
Main menu controls
* A = select
* UP/DOWN = change selection
* RIGHT/LEFT = change mines/size
* Z = speed up selection (only for mines/size)
In-game controls
* A = clear space
* B = Toggle flag,question mark & square
* Z = Speed up Cursor
* LEFT/RIGHT/UP/DOWN = change selection
* START = Pause
Score Board controls
* LEFT/RIGHT = Select size
* Y = Clear score board
* A/B = Back
