WiiSound 1.0 WiiSound 1.0
This is related in some way to that post we made a few weeks back about making your Wiimote sound like a lightsaber. From the looks of it, this application actually seems like the evolutionary source for all those Wiimote-audio apps that we've been seeing lately
GeeXboX GeeXboX
is a media center program built on Wii Linux. It uses MPlayer with a graphical front end. It can play videos and music (with visualization) and display photo slideshows
WiiMPC WiiMPC
WiiMPC is a simple MPD client for the Wii.
It utilizes the WiiMote to control your music server with buttons for play/pause/stop, change song, and change volume. The screen shows the current song, song position, and volume.
Install WiiMPC like any other HomeBrew channel app; then create a file in the wiimpc directory called wiimpc

MPlayerWii MPlayerWii
version 0.02 is still in very early build stages, but if you're looking for a Wii-native media player for your video files, this would probably be your first pick. Not only does this Wii port of MPlayer already have decoder support in place for six formats, it can also read these video formats from eight different movie file types
Metronome Metronome
Westy92 has come out with Metronome v1.0, perhaps the first metronome application made for the Wii.
Much like a regular metronome, the app essentially does the same function of maintaining a consistent tempo which a person can follow while playing an instrument. Metronome v1
