Ever tried playing two-player Snake? It seems that uschghost has come up with an update to his Snake homebrew game that allows for such a gaming experience.
According to the changelog of the game, the following things have been added (or readded, as the case may be) in Snake v2
Pong2 Pong2
Pong2 is an open-source game based on the original game of Pong. Pong2 has improved features over the original. The paddle can be moved horizontally and vertically. 10 tracks of background music are available during game play. The first player to score 10 points in each level is the winner.

Shiny Red Tank Shiny Red Tank
Shiny Red Tank is eventually going to become an old-school platformer including elements from my favorite 8-bit and 16-bit games. It is in very early stages of development and still has quite a few bugs, but you should be able to get a pretty good idea of the game mechanics.

I took many creative liberties with it, including redoing all of the sound effects with my brother and my girlfriend, and switching up the game modes just a bit

Homebrew developer KnightOfDragon stealthily added a new addition to the Nintendo Wii homebrew games collection over at Wii Brew: Duck Hunt Wii. The author says that the game is a clone of the Nintendo Entertainment System (Famicom) version, and it has been reworked to utilize the Wii remote for aiming controls

The Wii's motion sensitive controls allows the console solid basis for creating some interesting shooter titles on it. Homebrew developer Mindcry decided to capitalize on this fact and released a new homebrew game on it entitled "Barrage"

Today we have an update from Wii developer r-win who has released Pingus version 0.7.6. Pingus is a port of the Nintendo game Lemmings. Here is what r-win had to say about his release.
