MaxConsole forums member vashiee has created a mod for version 2.50 of the Wiifree modchip for the Nintendo Wii video game console. This mod basically adds LCD support to the current Wiifree source.
At this point, vashiee says that the mod doesn't do much except display a "WiiFree 2.50 is loaded" message. Displaying other messages such as "Patching" or "Booting Wii game" should also be possible according to vashiee. The coder notes however that the info that can actually be fetched from the Wii's DVD drive have not been fully explored for use with this mod.
Here are the schematics as well as a look at the mod itself. The download includes the files needed for the mod as well as instructions on how to set it up.
