Extra Index Information
The index shows additional information, such as postal districts for streets and telephone numbers for hospitals. Stations in the index show whether a mainline rail or underground connection is available. Direction Finder
You can use the Pocket A-Z to show the direction of travel from one location to another. Place the 'person' icon at the start location on the map then place a 'flag' icon at the destination. Then by clicking the 'show direction' icon an arrow appears indicating the direction of travel required as the crow flies between the two points. If the map is re-centred whilst traveling, the arrow will re-adjust to show the new direction to the destination.
Additional maps are also available covering other towns and cities throughout the UK. These can be installed along-side this publication and stored on storage cards to provide a useful library of maps which can be added and removed as required.
