PocketLoop is an addictive game based on Slither Link / Fences / Loop the Loop. Your goal is to draw a single closed line where the number of segments around each cell matches the number inside the cell.
Rules
PocketLoop is played on a rectangular lattice of dots. Some of the squares formed by the dots have numbers inside them. The objective is to connect horizontally and vertically adjacent dots so that the lines form a single loop with no loose ends. In addition, the number inside a square represents how many of its four sides are segments in the loop.
How to play
Each segment in the lattice has 3 states:
- Set: the segment is part of the loop, it appears as a black line.
- Unset: the segment is not part of the loop, it appears as no line.
- Unknown: the segment might be part of the loop. It appears as a dotted line. Normally all you need is to mark the segments of the loop. You can mark a segment by tapping it in the middle. You can also mark one or more segments by drawing them with the pen using a single stroke. If you tap or draw over a segment that is already set, it is changed to the unknown state. Ocassionally you might want to mark connectors as unset. You can toggle the unset state by tapping and holding the middle of the connector. For your confort, new grids are generated in background while you play. Ocassionally you might request a new grid before it is ready. In that case, you receive a countdown message to display how long will it take to finish the grid. Once the new grid is ready, you can use Game->New to load it. If you don't want to wait, just use Game->New duing the countdown and you will load the new grid in its current state. Incomplete grids are easier than complete grids because some numbers are not removed from the grid.
