BrightTools BrightTools is an application that controls the brightness of the screen. To achieve this it has three different tools that controls the LCD brightness value: scheduled brightness change, popup dialog box and external power connection.
The Scheduled brightness tool changes the brightness of the screen according to a profile of hourly brightness values
Colour Bundle Colour Bundle - comprises 3 simple applications:

This application changes your Palm OS handheld screen into all white and functions as a torch-light in the dark.

This application changes your Palm OS handheld screen into all black and functions as a mirror when needed
No Streak Hack No Streak Hack - Some Palm IIIx displays have the 'streaking' problem. They tend to extend vertical lines (can be seen in the datebook month view) . Sometimes this can be adjusted by reducing the contrast using the contrast adjustment wheel.
This problem can sometimes be solved with software by changing the display refresh frequency. The PalmOS 3.1
Mirror+ Mirror+ turns the whole screen black, unlike other programs, and takes up just 2kb of space.

Backlight On Backlight On will turn on the backlight of your m505 every time you turn your Palm on.
Backlight On differs from the "official" Palm app in several ways:
-There is never any user interface. It just works, and doesn't need to be configured.
- It is much smaller (under 1Kb).
- It turns on the backlight everytime the m505 is turned on
AutoBacklight AutoBacklight is a small application that allows to adjust backlight intensity according to the current time. It helps to improve display readability and optimize power consumption. It means that your PDA will run longer without recharging
Screen Prefs Screen Prefs sets the default screen color/gray scale depth and color scheme for your Palm OS device. It can handle screen modes from black and white (1-bit) all the way up to 16-bit color.
This program shows up in your Palm Preferences application (known as Prefs) and not in the application launcher. However, it can be configured to show up in the application launcher

FindPrivate FindPrivate - If you're using the 'Find' on your PalmOS device, and if you also hide/mask private records, you may miss some search results that you'd like to see.
Not always you may remember to show private records prior to 'Find', and even if you do - it's a little bit cumbersome when you need your data fast
LensWarning LensWarning - Tested under TH55 only - may work for others too.
LensWarning will remind you to cover the lens of your CLIE(R) device before running non-camera apps, or at power-off/on (configurable).
The warning is by LED and optionally a sound, and won't interfere with other programs or power off
PowerBright PowerBright allows you to toggle your brightness from maximum to minimum by holding the 'Power' button for a configured time.
You may also hold the Page-Down/Up buttons too, to adjust the brightness down/up respectively - the step value and treshold are configurable for your convenience
HoldSync HoldSync allows you to HotSync by holding one of your hardware buttons.
Enabled by default, it can't get any easier than that:
Hold first hardware button for 8/10 of a second and release to HotSync.

AutoOffExtender AutoOffExtender - AutoOff is when your device shuts itself off automatically after a specified period of user-inactivity, in order to conserve battery power.
AutoOffExtender can detect when your device is powered on after being off for less than a few seconds, and extend the auto-off time for that session, assuming you need more time to watch the screen with no action
pTunesDA pTunesDA - displays the console window of Pocket Tunes if it's running in background & launches app if not.

BrightnessDAs BrightnessDAs - with a stroke of your finger (depends on the DA launcher you're using and the options you choose to invoke my DAs) your could quickly choose between minimum brightness (great for reading at night), low (~20%, for battery-conscious users ;), medium (50%, should be enough for most situations) or maximum (100%. The range above 50% up to 100% is superfluous)
