PiLocAPI- enables you to overcome the limitations of the Palm OS when developing localized versions of applications. Piloc API helps you to take into consideration all of the unique features of the language for which you are developing (including fonts, special native keyboard layouts, sorting order, and even different code pages).
Besides, you could force user to forget about the fact, that Palm OS uses single byte encoding. You may offer possibility to work with languages, which is impossible to use simultaneously within ranges of one code page. This could make your application really multilingual.
We are using PiLoc API in our own projects. This helps us to increase quality of our products greatly. For example, our multilingual dictionary SlovoEd enables user to enter words most natural way on different languages, and even to show dictionary articles containing characters that are impossible to display other way without using of Unicode.
