Treo Button Manager is a free program to manage all the button overlay files (skins) that are available for the Treo 600 smart phone.
Many of these overlay files can be found in the discussion groups at various Treo web sites.
The most complete collection is available at: mytreo.net. Many are also available at: "Treo Central".
Typically, to install an overlay you have to erase the old one, and then sync over a new one.
With Treo Button Manager you simply HotSync the overlay files to your SD card (this program requires that you have one), and use the "Import Overlay Files" option.
Once the overlay files have been imported to Treo Button Manager, you launch the program and select the overlay file that you want, and it is instantly installed.
There is even a "Random" button that selects one for you randomly.
Instructions:
HotSync the "btnmgr.prc" file to your Treo 600.
HotSync the overlay files that you wish to use to use to you Treo 600, with the SD card selected as the destination.
Additionally, overlay files can be manually installed to Button Manager by copying them to the /aquabuttons folder on the SD card.
Then from the "File" menu in Button Manager, select the "Import Overlay Files" option. The overlay files will import to Treo Button Manager.
To select an overlay file to use, highlight it and press the "Install" button.
