Rattmuffen has just made his presence known over on the QJ forums with his first release, Zlink 0.5-P.
This piece of homebrew includes three mini-games: Avoid ("Avoid the snakes and go to the door and there's no turning back!"), Bounce ("Bounce three rupees against the wall and don't miss 'em"), and Chase ("Catch rupees and be faster than the freaking mummy!"). It also has a Zelda quiz game that contains ten Zelda-related questions and a shoot-em-up game called Z-Type - which we're guessing is based on the classic R-Type.
Known Bugs:
Slowdown in the first boss level
"Bounce" IS a bug!
Select-restart in Avoid, caused crashes so I removed it
According to Rattmuffen, he is looking to include the following in the next release (1.0-P):
Z-Type: Two new levels, better controls, better graphics
Zelda-Quiz: Ten new questions, better graphics
Bounce: Fix all nasty bugs
Avoid: Better music!
