Ask A Pirate - Ahoy me hearties! Did ye landlubbers ever want to ask a question to a real life pirate? Well too bad! Pirates are way too busy for answering your scallywag questions. But the Ask A Pirate app is the next best thing! Ask the digital ghost of a once great pirate Cap'n Joe "Wooden Leg" Harvy anything ye want! These questions can both be pirate related and non-pirate related.
Old Joe had firsthand experience with many pirate activities, such as pillaging, keelhauling, flogging, stealing (a pirate’s borrowing), bottles o’ rum (and loads of it!) and has pirated more booty than any of ye lads can imagine.
On his many adventures Cap’n Wooden Leg has met many different historical pirates. Including Peter Love, Zheng Jing, Sir Francis Drake, John Nutt, Gang Ning, Calico Jack (John Rackham), William Kidd, Barbarossa, Henry Every, Edward Lowe, Bartholomew Roberts, Edward England, Henry Morgan, Stede Bonnet, Thomas Tew, Jack Sparrow and Edward Teach (Blackbeard). And according to his own words he also had many a privateer love affairs with buccaneers such as Anne Bonny, The Red Lady, Rachel Wall, Lady Mary Killigrew and of course Mary Harvey.
The old sea dog Joe will also tell you about the many mythical creatures that roam the seven seas. Including the Tidehunter, the Kraken, the kobolds and mermaids.
Answers might refer to anything from movie pirates to historical pirates, Dead Man's Chest to At World's End, Poseidon to Tia Dalma, the ancient Mediterranean to the Bahamas, classic ballads to rock music, sharks to parrots and Coca-Cola to rum. And so much more..
