The app is currently in beta primarily due to the continued development of the JSON API within xbmc. In order to use this app, you must download a nightly build of xbmc. I recommend using http://sshcs.com/xbmc/ for compiled builds or ppa:team-xbmc/unstable if you use Ubuntu
