In Hyperwave you find yourself in an open space and take part in the battle of people against alien invaders. You have to protect approaches to a power shield, the last line of defense of the Earth. Your spaceship will move exclusively along the protected line, and the enemies will attack constantly, moving from the top to the bottom. Your task is to keep maneuvering and not to cease fire so as not to give the aliens a chance to break through the defense. You also have to collect bonuses in the game; they will let you upgrade the fighting strength of your spaceship. You are to complete 50 levels and destroy lots of enemies. The game will continue until you have enough energy. It goes down with every break of the enemy through the defense line.
