Although still in beta mode, and the developers admit that there's still revamping to be done, we agree that it's quite spiffy as an IM program for your DS.The developers included a step by step "how-to" guide in the zip file, along with notes that you might want to check out

VoiceChatClient Infantile Paralisyser has made an update of his VoiceChatClient. The application now has a unicode font and a private chat function was added. This looks like the older brother of PenChatClient v0.1. It's got the similar interface and the scribbler on the touch screen. But if the name of this homebrew is any indication, it's also got voice support

Wifi Chat Demo + Source This download is for the source and binary (executable) files of the NDS WiFi Chat demo. Alx06 has released, what he calls, a simple WiFi chat application for the NDS. This application will allow you to chat wirelessly to someone across the nation! Although, this is just a proof of concept demo, it still works if you want to try it out

WiFi VoiceChatClient - It's going to be a tough call for Nintendo DS users on whether to upgrade to a higher version of Infantile Paralysiser's WiFi VoiceChatClient. Tough call because it looks like this latest one is experiencing a few connectivity issues
