PocketTV Classic (WM2003) - Award-winning PocketTV lets you play any standard MPEG-1 file (extension .mpg) on your Pocket PC. You can create your own MPEG files or download thousands from the net.
This version is for all Pocket PC's (including phones) 2003 and 2003 Second Edition.
What's New in This Release:
· Fixed issue with backlight dimming
MID-Play - MID-Play is a new MIDI file player.
After "mimidi" and the offerings from Timidity, "PocketMIDI" and the even better "GSPlayer for MIDI", we have a 4th solution.
The configuration menu has lots of options
Pocket Clanger Theremin - Pocket Clanger Theremin is a program for those who love experimental music.
Basically, it's an electronic instrument that you play without touching: it has two antennae and it is the movement of your hand in relation to these that changes the volume and frequency of the sound that it produces
AstorPlayer - AstorPlayer is a utility for (ex-) Amiga owners who have remained faithful to MOD music files.
Based on LibMikMod 3.1.9, this freeware app has the advantage of supporting the *.mod, *.s3m, *.stm, *.669, *.okt, *.xm, *.it, *.mtm formats with some concerns for *.it nevertheless. Also, it can play the modules out of *.zip or *.rar files
Vinyl - Vinyl is an excellent little program that allows you to manage all the music on your PC. A sort of remote control.
It comprises a server which needs to be installed on the PC and a client on the Pocket PC (communication is via TCP/IP)
liteplay - Liteplay is a MP3/OGG file reader with the single objective of using the least amount of memory possible.
It takes up 44kb (besides the fmodce.dll dile that I have already in other directories) and so shouldn't slow down your machine too much if you run it in the background
Network MP3 Player - You listen to mp3 and you have a Wireless network card on your PocketPC?
Cheer up! Network MP3 Player was made for you.
This exemplary software is simple, you don't have to install any software on your desktop. You only share the folder with your favorite mp3 files
UdaEq - UdaEq is a unique little program that will please those who listen to MP3s on their iPAQ 3630, which is known for being quite loud even when the volume is at a minimum.
This program corrects this by providing a precise volume control (the HW Vol option allows you to signicantly reduce the sound volume)
MODPlayCE - MODPlayCE is a MOD player as well as STM and S3m player.
If you never had an Amiga, you might not know that it is a music format, a distant cousin of MIDI, hardware independant, unlike MIDI.
Evidently we are talking about an era where MP3 didn't exist.
There is even a little keyboard to test the samples included in the file, a must-have for musicians
