Invisible App Detector - App Detector icon shows the total number (visible + invisible) apps loaded in working memory (RAM) and running or waiting. Icon label shows how many of those are visible vs. invisible apps, i.e.

If you have either the free "Digital Menu Clock & Status", or "Digital Menu Clock Plus", the Open-Apps reading in your menus will receive the additional data from Invisible App Detector, and show the number of invisible apps in brackets, i.e.:
