Talking Alarm Text Clock Demo (TAT Clock Demo) is a trial demo of the fully-featured Talking Alarm Text Clock PRO. It has most of the same functions but features less alarm options, colors, alarm sounds and speaking options. This DEMO allows you to try the app before purchasing the fully-featured Pro version.
TAT Clock is an elegant and modern way to view and hear the time on your BlackBerry® PlayBook™. Whether on your office desk, living room or bedside table, TAT Clock exemplifies aesthetic yet functional art. It displays the time by means of a word search through a matrix of letters, highlighting only those necessary to tell the time in the form of a sentence. Although internally precise to the second, it shows time in 5 minute steps to keep with its abstract and minimalist design (5:23pm displays as "It Is Twenty Past 5 PM", and 9:48am shows as "It Is A Quarter To 10 AM").
TAT Clock features an ALARM with over 20 sound options and a SNOOZE function. It also SPEAKS the time when you tap on the screen, or at specific intervals (5 minute, 10 minute, 15 minute, 20 minute, 30 minute or hourly updates). This is especially useful when you are busy but want to keep track of the time simply by hearing it announced regularly (at work, in the kitchen, or while taking a shower).
COLORS are fully customizable for highlighted text, background text, and clock background. Over 20 colorful presets are available, with names like "ChocoMocha", "DevilRed", "PurpleHaze", etc. There is even a custom color-wheel to make your own color combinations for trillions of possibilities (see screenshots).
TAT Clock keeps your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ awake when it is in the foreground by disabling "Standby Mode". Because the screen is always on, it is best used when plugged in. Ideally, a rapid pod charger stand should be used on your office desk or bedside table to optimize the viewing angle. The clock will pause (like most apps) if your BlackBerry® PlayBook™ goes to sleep or the app is in the background. To avoid missing alarms or spoken time alerts, TAT Clock should remain in the foreground where it can be seen and heard, as it prefers to command full attention as a conversational time-piece.
