Tetherbot is an experimental SOCKS proxy and Port Bouncer that should allow you to connect your laptop to the internet using the internet connection (EDGE, 3G or WiFi) of your Android-powered phone.

tetherBlu - This simple application allows one to tether their Android phone with their PC over bluetooth. The free edition only allows you to tether your wifi internet signal to your computer. The premium edition will tether both your wifi internet signal and your cell data internet signal
Wired Tether - This application enables tethering (via USB) for "rooted" handsets running Android. A client (your laptop for example) can connect via usb and get access to the internet using the 3G, 2G mobile connection or the wifi connection which is established by the handset.
This program has been tested with Linux and Microsoft Windows clients
