Handy Randy - There are all sorts of uses for random numbers, ranging from the frivolous (playing games) to the serious (handing out prizes at events such as seminars or races) to the ultra-serious (performing business audits). Handy Randy is the ultimate random number software for the Palm, easy to use but with features galore. Here's what Handy Randy can do:
Generate and display random numbers in user-specifiable ranges (e.g., 1-1000).
Pull random names from your entire Palm Address Book or from any category in the Address Book
Up to six different, non-contiguous ranges can be specified (e.g., 1-200, 350-475) so that you don't waste time generating random numbers which aren't relevant to your problem.
Keeps track of all numbers drawn, and, as a user-specifiable option, prevents any number from being drawn more than once.
Lets you specify how many numbers are drawn with each tap, from 1 to 999.
Lets you cancel a draw in progress if it's taking too long (which can happen if you draw many numbers at once, especially when operating in the "no duplicates" mode).
Generates random numbers up to eight digits (that is, up to 99999999).
Optionally, sorts the numbers into numerical order, so you can easily see which numbers have been drawn.
Displays the entire list of numbers which have been drawn in a scrollable view.
And finally, in conjunction with PalmPrint software, lets you print the list of drawn numbers directly to supported printers.

Handy Label Handy Label - There are a number of very nice, very flexible programs available for desktop computers to allow you to print barcode labels. If you have a portable barcode label printer, however, it may well be because you need to print labels "on the go" - while walking around a shop, supermarket, or warehouse, or even in the field
SplitTimer SplitTimer - It's customary to have volunteers with stopwatches at various mile markers in a longer race (10K, Marathon, etc.) calling out "splits" so that racers will know how they're doing. The problem is, the time is probably the least interesting statistic to the oxygen-deprived racer. The really interesting numbers are the pace (e.g
CatScan CatScan - Imagine what you could do if you could download up to 32 different catalogs (databases) each containing up to 32 fields and up to 32,767 records into your Palm, Symbol SPT, or Handspring Visor, and quickly look up information in those catalogs manually or by barcode scanning
SnailMailer SnailMailer is a companion applicaton to PalmPrint, the #1 printing software for the Palm Computing Platform. Its basic functionality lets you print envelopes, mailing labels (2-up or 3-up), and complete information (including phone numbers, notes, etc.) from the standard Palm Address Book
