Radic is a small and free application for the PalmOS environment that allows the user to identify japanese kanji by their radicals. Since there are a lot less radicals than kanji, identifying them this way makes life a bit easier for struggling students of the japanese language
Phrasebook Friend provides user definable lists of foreign phrases. You can create pages of phrases, both long (like "Can you tell me how to get to the airport please?", etc.), and short (like "Hello", "Thank you", etc.).
The long phrase has one entry and tranlastion per page, and the short phrase up to four per page
