PSP Filer

PSP Filer v1.9+ lets you do everything from playing back wav and mp3 files, modifying file names, and even verify the contents of your files
FileAssistant 2.8
The famous PSP 'brew, FileAssistant, has now been ported to run on Firmware 2.8, thanks to Killer Maniac's efforts. Now, the thing is, he hasn't tested it if Flash writing works, because according to him, he is not willing to risk it. But if you are, then you are most welcome to do so, of course

There are things that just keep getting better with time, right? Take wine for example, it certainly becomes better and sweeter as years go by. We guess the same can be applied to homebrew developers, or people in general for that matter
fBrowserXP
This is a file browser script made by fchaos and yoyomacy. Using this nice Lua App, you can browse folders, execute Lua scripts, and view .PNG images. You're going to need Lua Player for this though. Just stick the fBrowser folder into the applications folder of your Lua Folder and you're good to go

Once again, we got another heads-up on Hoshizora's latest 'brew update on uo_Ograniser v0.9.2 from almost a couple of months ago via the QJ forums. It's now called uo_Ograniser 0.9.2se. The app is based on (and is the extension of) the original program developed and released by modsyn (a.k.a Ogranise)

FileAssistant
One of the must-have pieces of homebrew, FileAssistant, has been ported to the TIFF Exploit by Freeplay. Although it's one of the older versions (v0.05), this was the only version whose source FreePlay could find. The original version was coded by Lin J.R, in case anyone's curious

Update: Just a few hours after the release of the first public build, FreePlay has told me that he has updated FileAssistant. Turns out, he's correct. The new version allows you to browse your UMDs and he has also got the battery meter working. Plus, while talking to him, he also revealed that he has polished the dialogs since they were a bit problematic
