AndroidChat is a location aware chat client for the Android platform.
More technically, the project consists of modifications to the inspircd irc daemon to support location-awareness services, and a client for Google's Android platform which supports location based channel matching
Besides being a chat client XtreMePP is designed for integration with other applications like LedEffects. Incoming messages are broadcasted so that other apps can react on incoming messages. XtreMePP is an open client and of course is open source
