Mario Touch Game Poke the Pokeys. That's the object of the game here. And after a while it gets really addicting... and rather stressful. Just the way addicting games really are meant to be. It has a sense of urgency. Take a look at Tetris or Pipe Dream. Those were pretty addicting games with a simple concept behind it, and with one goal in mind: to get the highest score.
Now, we have Super Mario Adventues (aka MarioTouchGame) for the DS, as homebrew'd by xtoc. The game is easy to catch on to: you just have to tap the Pokeys to kill them. As soon as a Pokey reaches Mario, it's game over for you. The hard part about it is that every 100 Pokeys, the level changes and the Pokeys get tougher to beat. The sound freezes sometimes for some reason, but that doesn't take the fun out of the game.
Controls:
* Touchpad: tap to kill the Pokeys * A : pause * START : resume game after pause
The first time around the game, I scored 451. Not bad for playing it the first time, but hey, my hand-eye coordination is way off! Hopefully in the future, the xtoc would add more features to this game. But as it is, I can imagine myself playing it for hours. Great stuff!
