Neon DS The work in progress known as Neon DS is still in its early stages, but it's showing more and more potential with every update as evidenced by version 0.2.0. This version has a new and improved 3D rendering scheme made possible by completely rewriting it using GLSL.
In order to run this emulator your system need to support OpenGL 2.0 or higher. The author seems to be concentrating on the visual aspect first as there is still no sound for this emulator yet.
Here are the changes in NeonDS 0.2.0:

* Video capture
* 2D background mosiac effect
* RTC
* NDS firmware settings
* Other emulator bug fixes

In case you aren't familiar with this application, it is an Amstrad CPC emulator that was based on the PC-CPC emulator from demoniak. This application will run on any Nintendo DS with a linker that supports by DLDI
