IRCDS DS homebrew coder Freemaan has just released version 0.2b of his IRC chat client for the Nintendo DS, the IRCDS. In this latest version, Freemaan has updated the application's compatibility, thus now allowing it to be used with MiniSD cards. However, he has also noted that there are still some minor errors that occur that he will eventually fix such as some minor graphic bugs, as well as the issue of not being able to connect to some servers with some routers.
In the meantime, he has listed the following as things that users may look forward to:
* IRC colors support * Autoupdate * More languages * DCC chat, transfer

It seems to be that Microsoft took down MSNP9 Protocol. This means that Beup Live doesn't work anymore, since it uses MSNP9.
I downgraded Beup Live to MSNP8 (which still works) for the people who still wants to use Beup Live. The only bad side is that there is no avatar support in MSNP8
