Sopwith Lazy1 has released his port of SDL Sopwith to the Nintendo DS, as an alpha test release. He notes that it is playable, and he's not very good at finding bugs. There is currently no sound as well. Current bugs:

- Error message when trying to read .sopwithrc

Star Wars: Die Solo ChavaDS has just release Star Wars: Die Solo v0.1 for the Nintendo DS. Here is what he had to say: Well, Star Wars: Die Solo! v.0.1 is out! It's just an example of what you can expect. There's a lot of things to do, such as another control scheme, collitions (really soon) or an enemy generator for the levels

The Living Dead Zombie games are always in demand, whether it be a retail or homebrew title. Nobody has released the version 1.2 of The Living Dead, obviously a zombie game wherein you'll have to survive amidst the horrible hordes of zombies after your flesh. OpenTyrian DSOpenTyrian DS
OpenTyrian DS At last. Nintendo DS owners wouldn't be left out of all the bullet-flying love, now that Dopefish released a DS port of OpenTyrian (PSP version here), the classic top-down shooter that was created way back in 1995 as freeware. For a first release, the DS port of OpenTyrian isn't bad at all
ArsenalArsenal
Arsenal Arsenal is a homebrew shoot 'em up game developed by smealum. The game comes with a level editor. Changelog: It now includes more levels (including a new 3D background for level 5 !), more music (including boss music !), replay files for every level (except level7 which I kinda want to keep "secret" and exclusive to people who can actually finish it tongue

Quake DS pre-release 2 source codes A few months ago, DS homebrew coder Simon Hall surprised us with his first pre-release of a Quake port for the Nintendo DS. And even if this release was admittedly rough, we imagine other developers and DS owners out there loved the idea, and had the best hopes for this project
SuzumebachiSuzumebachi
Suzumebachi This game looks promising, if only for the artwork alone. Over at the Project DS forums, K4y has released version 0.2 of SuzumeBachi which is supposed to be a shmup game, and it looks very nice. The only problem is, version 0.2 doesn't actually have anything aside from your hornet (suzumebachi means "hornet") and the ability to move around with the D-pad
Snowride release 2Snowride release 2
Snowride release 2 Here's a new version of my little score attack style shooter.. It's finished for now It should be more difficult than the previous version, mainly because it throws a lot more enemies at you - especially in Zone 2. Changes: New enemy type, more music, tweaked levels and enemy behaviours, prettified title screen
