Stringy Things Jayenkai has released the latest update to his series of DS homebrew gamed called Stringy Things. Stringy Things v0.5 include not one, not two but seven new games to blow your minds. These are:
* Swaps: Find a new word by replacing the letter shown with any other letter
* Crosses: Create words on the board, in a criss-cross fashion using the tiles provided
* Towers: Build words upside down, inside the tubes provided
* Triplets: Create words which contain the three letters provided, in the order shown
* Strings: Trace the stylus over words to score points
* Anagrams: Get the longest word possible from the letters provided. Each set of letters can be made into a single longer word
* Dice: It's Yahtzee, and it has nothing to do with words!
In addition to all those games that would satisfy even word-meisters Webster and Roget, Stringy Things v0.5 also includes a single DS multiplayer gameplay. In multiplayer, each player gets a round to themselves. The highest scorer wins. To get into this mode:
* Click the icon on the bottom right to determine the number of players
* Set the time limit to something small
* Select a game
