CenterMenu - Holding the center button on the five-way controller for about a second on newer Palms gives the generally useless alerts box. But if you install CenterMenu, instead it will pull down the application menu, which you can then navigate with the five-way controller for stylus-free, one-handed operation
YASP (Yet Another Skinning App) - When you enable it, it will replace all of your old checkboxes, push buttons and all other buttons with new 2-bit, 4-bit, or 16-bit buttons, depending on your device.
There are so many of these types of app out there but none worked on my Handspring Visor Deluxe.
So, I wrote my own app using C and Codewarrior
Replace standard Palm application icons using IconsPlus in Applications(biult-in launcher), Favorites, ZLauncher, SilverScreen, WinLauncher, MegaLauncher with Crystal icons
BlackBorder - Change that tacky 2-pixel white border into a sleek black border!
Designed to work with the LifeDrive and Palm TX, however does work on some Zire 72 and Treo 650 devices (with additional files, which are included). Features an exclusion list to choose programs that will keep the classic white border
DIAButton - Imagine being able to switch from portrait to landscape at the press of button... Or imagine bringing the DIA up or down by pressing the up and down buttons... Well thanks to DIAButton you can!
DIAButton is a simple but useful program to map your Palm's hard buttons to manipulate the DIA
AutoOffExtender - AutoOff is when your device shuts itself off automatically after a specified period of user-inactivity, in order to conserve battery power.
AutoOffExtender can detect when your device is powered on after being off for less than a few seconds, and extend the auto-off time for that session, assuming you need more time to watch the screen with no action
ChangeMe - Change the launcher name of applications or DA, hide them and substitute icon of a program to another.

InsertSD - Customize the behaviour of the PDA when a card is inserted.
InsertSD is a new preference.
With it you can customize action like:
- Run or not the start.prc of the card.
- Quit or not the running application
AuDodo - With AuDodo, you can assign the on/off functionality to a hard button.
You can parameter the launch of the application customized on the hard button when you switch on the palm with it.
