PlayStation3 homebrew seems to be picking up some tempo. A Japanese coder recently released a NES emulator for the console using BD-J. Aside from being an emulator, the program also acts as a filer that displays certain kinds of images (PNG, GIF, JPG)

Previously known as PS3Filer, PS3-Nes gets an apt rename. Dark-Show has released an update to his NES emulator for the PS3, which runs via BD-J.
The emulator still doens't have any sound support, but it's slowly showing signs of more functionality. One of the newer features for PS3-Nes u0.2b is added support for a second controller
