Remember the year-old Custom Firmware 1.50: Media Edition? Well, eiffel56 informed us that he has released Custom Firmware 1.53. So what does this do?

Over on the QJ PSP Development forums, becus25 has released a new update for his Custom Firmware 1.50 IE B. According to becus25, this version corrects all the errors originally detected in earlier releases, so check it out

A new custom firmware from becus25 has just been released on the QJ PSP Development forums called Custom Firmware 1.62 IE (which apparently means "increasing edition"). Update one of the new custom firmware includes the following features:

All of the functions of v3.51 firmware have been retained in this release including PS1 support, high video resolution, MP3 visualizer, and internet navigation. You can also expect to be able to launch official UMDS which require v3

Custom Firmware 3.51 M33 Update
Team M33's custom firmware 3.51 M33 has gotten another new update. According to the readme file, the use noumd config in recovery has now been changed to UMD Mode.
With this update, PlayStation Portable users get three choices. They can run a game normally using a UMD or go for the custom firmware's two UMD-less modes
