  Legend of Zelda Alpha 2

If you liked Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer dan369's first alpha release of his homebrew game about the Hero of Time, Legend of Zelda, then you're in for a treat: the second alpha is ready and waiting for you to download it onto your PSP's memory stick. And as usual, we're here to report just what's changed from the last version.

What's new in Alpha 2? Here's the changelog:

* finished all the house levels
* including an bonus level with collisions not in Zion's games
* added Link_Study
* added Link_Hallway
* added Link_Workshop (with dialogue )
* Now has Slim Support

Well, would you look at that! Not only are all the house levels finished, but you can now play dan369's rendition of the Legend of Zelda on your PSP Slim & LIte! Definitely a step up from the first alpha indeed. Updates as we get them, and enjoy!

Exit 2 Demo We are quite sure you had fun playing Mr Esc the first time around. Who wouldn't anyway? Imagine yourself trapped in offices, hospitals and other buildings because of real life threats such as fire and earthquakes among others. For all we know, this game may save our very lives in the future

Quest of Link demo in C  To every cloud, there is a silver lining. And while Zion won't be following up his Quest of Link demo homebrew game with a full version just yet, he brings us the next best thing - the gift of self...figuratively

Legend of Hyrule: Linkens Quest  We previously mentioned that zion has the potential to be one of the better developers out there. While some may have met this prediction with skeptism, he's determined to make these doubting thomases give him a 'thombs' up

I once said that it's always worth writing about homebrew games eventhough they are still at their early stages and are still not playable because it's sure nice knowing that someone's actually making an effort to make a game everyone can enjoy in the futeur
Lua Ys for PSPLua Ys for PSP
Ysjman420 could be one of those selected few not of Japanese descent (or maybe he is) that had an appreciation for this action role-playing game from Falcom released in 1987, otherwise, he wouldn't have bothered porting it to the PSP

Legend of Zelda Portable Adventures Alpha 4 - Homebrew developer dan369 is back with the latest version of his Legend of Zelda Portable Adventures, now on Alpha 4 (previous release here). There are no screenshots taken from the newest release, but the developer has done a lot of coding, with most (if not all) of the sound and animation bugs eradicated
Legend Of Zelda - Quest Of Link demoLegend Of Zelda - Quest Of Link demo
Legend Of Zelda - Quest Of Link demo  It's been a long time coming, but that's not without reason. While Zion had teased us with a trailer for his Legend of Zelda - Quest of Link homebrew RPG game, a lot of us have been anticipating the Lua game. Due to some unforeseen circumstances (i.e. brickage) on his side of development, he wasn't able to finish coding the game
Crimson RoomCrimson Room
Crimson Room  Fyrehart has released his port of Crimson Room for the PSP. Being as this port was made in Adventure Maker, the file weighs in at a hefty 25mb, but anyone who is a fan of the crimson room type games should definitely check it out. Fyrehart states that once he learns Lua, he will port it to that language to cut the size down
EscapeEscape
Escape Unusual. It's a word that can best describe Taichi1082's entry to NEOFLASH's Summer Coding Competition called Escape. Now before you assume the negative, let me just point out that unusual means not ordinary. The object of the game is to escape the room that you are in, using objects found in that room
