A little over a month ago, PlayStation Portable homebrew developer dan369 gave us a video preview of Legend of Zelda Alpha 4 and now, the coder has released the first public beta release of the said build.
Quite a number of changes were made to the homebrew game, the most notable changes are the complete graphics rework and the new moves. Here's the changelog from dan369's release thread:
Completely revamped gfx by Darrel
ADDED 2 new moves
Shielding and Spin
Changed the Outside levels (only one currently )
Big update to the Inventory screen as it saves your postition
The dev noted that while the most collisions work, some of them don't so we'll have to wait for the future releases to get that ironed out. You can try out the game via the download link below and since this is a public beta, suggestions and bug reports will be much appreciated.

Escape Escape
Unusual. It's a word that can best describe Taichi1082's entry to NEOFLASH's Summer Coding Competition called Escape. Now before you assume the negative, let me just point out that unusual means not ordinary.
The object of the game is to escape the room that you are in, using objects found in that room
Sora Adventure I once said that it's always worth writing about homebrew games eventhough they are still at their early stages and are still not playable because it's sure nice knowing that someone's actually making an effort to make a game everyone can enjoy in the futeur

We are quite sure you had fun playing Mr Esc the first time around. Who wouldn't anyway? Imagine yourself trapped in offices, hospitals and other buildings because of real life threats such as fire and earthquakes among others. For all we know, this game may save our very lives in the future

Fyrehart has released his port of Crimson Room for the PSP. Being as this port was made in Adventure Maker, the file weighs in at a hefty 25mb, but anyone who is a fan of the crimson room type games should definitely check it out. Fyrehart states that once he learns Lua, he will port it to that language to cut the size down
