Somehow, it feels a bit weird for Mario to be carrying an HP status display, but we can dig it. DON released an RPG-styled game called Mario Adventure for PSPs, and it's a quirky little thing, mostly because we keep imagining Mario as a Final Fantasy character as a result.
Mario Adventure v0.1 looks very polished for a first release, with music and sound effects present in the current build. It's even in an Eboot form so we didn't have to use Lua Player to get it up and running. With a bit of imagination, you can envision Mario delivering limit breaks in the form of powerful flying kick attacks, but that might just be my meds running out.
In any case, here are the features of the game. If you want to install this, just place it in the game folder of your handheld and you should be good to go. Still, you may want to consult others if you're not sure what you're doing, just to be sure. Enjoy!
