Since the release last night, some complained, rightly, can not access the PSN while others could go there without worries. It did not take a lot of time to understand that only the PSP Slim is facing problem. GENyUS therefore corrected this problem and we changed the archive of the original release version Build 4.

Of course, those who have already moved in Custom firmware 5.50 with the first release (build 3) can not be updated with build 4 the new archive. Logic, because no one can update that to a higher (5.51 for example). GENyUS therefore programmed a little utility that will flash the patch in your console. Is simple.

PSPPet has released a new version of his PSARDumper firmware decryption program. This is a legal tool that allows you to decrypt any firmware, in effect 'reverse engineering' the PSP. Version 0.2Ae adds support to decrypt 2.6 prx's. The dumped files are same as the files in the PSP NAND Flash except the "SIG check key" is not generated

PSP homebrew developer, Insert_Witty_Name has recently released a very nifty application over the forums. The app is called VSH Analog v0.1 and this plug-in allows use of the analog stick for movement in the VSH. It is a simple plug-in, but nonetheless, it could be useful to some people.
Anyhow, this will just wokr on all OE firmwares...for now
