Lots of you were ecstatic when Booster recently updated this special application called DevHook to v0.46. You're comments said it all-- excitement, happiness among many others, but aside from that, lots of PSP gamers were asking if there's a way to get out of emulated firmware 2.71 back to 1.50 without switching off the PSP. Well, we may just have the solution for that.
logicbomb.de shared through our forums about this app-- a DevHook 0.46 Plugin that will allow you to reboot to 1.5 without turning off the PSP. But let us just clarify that logicbomb.de wasn't the one who created this plugin. According to him, at first he didn't really have an idea who made this, but thanks to some info that was passed on to him, we could now credit this creation to developer Saturne_1606.
Shifting our focus to the plugin, this one will enable you lucky PSP owners to reboot to 1.5 from anywhere in the 2.71 XMB by holding the HOME and START buttons. How to install this? All you have to do is extract the contents of this folder to the root (ms:/ ) of your memorystick and overwrite the existing vshex.prx file. This one is actually like jas0nuk's original reboot to 1.5 mod which only worked on 2.5 emulation. Also the developer can't be held responsible for anything bad that happens to your PSP while using this plug-in, keep that in mind. With that aptly stated, let us know your suggestions, opinions, and other what nots through your comments.
