Homebrew developer Angelo of the unofficial piKey team has noted that 3.80 Custom Firmware-powered Sony PlayStation Portable handhelds encounter problems when used with infrared keyboard-supporting homebrew applications. To solve the issues, dev Angelo came up with IrDA (infrared) Patcher.
The infrared feature fails to work when in the "Game3.XX" mode. Examples of affected homebrews are the word processor PSPWrite and the instant messenger AFKIM. Dev Angelo's IrDA Patcher solves it by simply adding Flash0:KDIRDA.PRX to ms0:SEPluginsGame.txt.
Is that a bit complicated? By doing this procedure, the IRDA.PRX driver loads the affected Game3.XX mode. Thus, you can now use your infrared keyboards again.
Coder Angelo wants you to know that there is no risk of bricking because the IrDA Patcher itself doesn't access the flash0 at all. However, pay attention that this can only be used for PSP Fat units.

1.50 to 1.00 Downgrader Downdater 1.50 to 1.00 Downgrader Downdater
Update #1: Dark_AleX, Yoshihiro and Mathieulh have now released the 1.50 to 1.00 downdater. Remember that to install this program, you will need the help of someone with a 1.00 PSP, and as always there is a risk to brick your PSP whenever you write to the flash memory
X-flash X-flash
Homebrew developer Art is at our doorsteps today (figuratively) to inform us that there's a new version out for his X-Flash program. It would be remembered that only a couple of days ago, Art came out with v17d complete with a video tutorial. Well, since then, the developer felt like there are certain matters that needed to be addressed
3.0x OE Customizer 3.0x OE Customizer
BadBoy recently released a new version of his OE customizer. Now called 3.0x OE Customizer v1.3, this should make customizing your PSP a whole lot easier, if you're willing to take the risk.
The risk, you might ask? Well, it writes to flash, so you may brick your PSP in doing so
CIntro Mod CIntro Mod
We so don't want to go through this over again but for purposes of discussion, CIntro is is a small introduction sequence attached to a cracked software. Now, the modifier is an eboot that runs pmfPlayer.prx to play any PMF file on startup if enabled through firmware
PSPdisp PSPdisp
This program package enables the use of a Playstation Portable as an additional monitor in Windows. You can also remotely send keyboard and mouse commands to the PC. The newest version implements sound streaming, too
Flash0 Unlocker 0.5 Flash0 Unlocker 0.5
This a good utility for the flash because he can show the hidden files of your flash0. It' s OK if you want to customise your PSP. He can too dump your flash0 on your computer if your PSP is bricked. If you dump your flash, the root is (C: )FLASH0.
It' s for Windows only. This software uses the DOS-COMMAND (System32)

While waiting for the next custom firmware coming from Dark AleX and Team M33, there's one based on the official Sony PlayStation Portable firmware 3.93 that surfaced which appears to be a functional alternative. Only known as CFW 3.93, it's said to be rooted in M33's work and gives credit to usual CFW contributors
FreeSpacerv2 FreeSpacerv2
The name suits this program really well. How so? napster_324's creation does what you probably think it does: FreeSpacerv2 allows you to "free 5MB of space with it in flash0"
