Developer roe-ur-boat was able to come up with some significant changes to the latest version of the homebrew game Basket Catch. The newest build buffs up the game's visuals by giving it improved graphics, as well as adding some changes to the gameplay.
As you might have already figured out from the title, Basket Catch is a homebrew game for the PlayStation Portable whose goal is to catch the falling eggs from the sky while trying to wrack up a higher score.
While the game is rather simple in nature, the new update raises the difficulty up by several notches as the higher you progress, the more eggs fall from the sky. Those who've downloaded the previous versions will also notice that version 1.0 has done away with the stick figure characters and have traded them in with some nice graphical improvements (who also resembles a certain Nintendo character... ahem!).
In any case, here's the list of improvements added to the latest version of Basket Catch:
1.0
- Added a new powerup
- Improved animation
- Improved random function
- Improved the way the eggs fall
- Improved Graphics (thanks squee666)
Don't forget to check out the Readme.txt file included in the downloadable archive of the game below. Enjoy the download!
