If you've ever had the urge to just chat with a friend using your Sony PlayStation Portable without using the internet, then this application from PSP homebrew developer FaT30YCG might interest you. The Adhoc Messenger v1.0 allows users to send and recieve messages on their PSP via an Adhoc connection.
While the application doesn't come with any documentation, instructions on how to use the program are given when you load it. Installing the application itself is relatively simple, here are the instructions from the developer as taken from the release thread: "to use this homebrew simply place it in the applications directory of the latest version of LuaplayerHM"
The developer also released a video of the Adhoc Messenger v0.1 in action, so you might want to check that out before trying the program for yourself.
