Youresam helped bring WiFi capabilities to homebrew programs written in Lua when he released his development library netlib. A few days later, he put this library to practice with the first standalone IM client for the PSP. Since then, the popular instant messenger PSPJabber has hit the web but that hasn't stopped youresam from continuing his work. Here's the latest version of netlib Instant Messenger which mainly addresses text entry problems. Here's what new in this release:
New features:
* Instead of using "]" for a newline, I put a special line in my PHP file so that if the id is instantmessenger and the file isnt empty, it will add "n". This will make it easier for the GUI LordStrum plans to add
* math.randomseed added. There were only two 'random' usernames before..
* Wlan.term() added
* Added text in the text entry to show what buttons do (very rough)
* O cancels text entry
* Improved text entry
