Turning a gaming handheld into a medium for art comes Sony Playstation Portable homebrew developer shaolan, with the preview version of his very own home-cooked proggie for the PSP entitled DAPES (Drawing and Picture Editing Software). LEt's take a closer look and see how we'll be able to use DAPES to create works of art on our very own PSP.
So, how does one use DAPES to exercise one's own artistic freedom? The answer lies in the release post, which we had translated via an online translation contraption. Here's an excerpt:
How does it work that:
* It directs the "pen" with the analog stick, if we build on L at the same time he moves faster
On the pallette:
* Cross-> Select a color main
* Round-> Select a color secondary
On the box option:
* R-> can permutate toolbox / file box
* Select-> Active / Disabled Hand Tool
Seems easy enough. Developer shaolan reminds users, however, that DAPES still is in its beginning stages, so there's still a lot that needs to be done. Other than that, however, have fun making your own images on the go.
