Aside from picking up a new team member to work on the homebrew app LuaPlayerHM7, developer homemister (working in collaboration with PiCkDaT) has released a new iteration to this highly useful program for the PlayStation Portable. LuaPlayerHM7 RC1 includes a host of new functions and convenient features which definitely improves on the previous build.
Here's a list of the changes that were included in the current version of LuaPlayerHM:
Alows you to browse the web. You do not need to start Wlan.init()
To use just load using System.runeboot("path of webbrowser") or System.webbrowser(path,url)
It will automaticaly return to LuaPlayerHM6.9Beta if in the same directory as the LuaPlayerHM eboot.pbp *A must*.
The Webbrowser now has flash support. it is the exact same as the oficial browser.
You can find the complete list of all the new functions by reading the features.txt list found in the file bundle. The documentation also explains how you can install it on your PSP, so please make sure to read it before copy any files into your handheld.

The version was build using the latest version of the original Stackless Python Code, currently at v 2.5
